Eastside Electrical & HVAC was founded by Abdallah Abu Taleb, a Washington licensed master electrician who spent years watching the local trade get reshaped by private equity rollups. The pattern repeats in every metro market: a national PE fund acquires a handful of family owned electrical and HVAC shops, consolidates them under one brand, retrains the technicians as commissioned salespeople, raises the prices, hides them behind "we'll have to come out and look," and milks the local reputation the original owners spent decades building.
This company exists because the Eastside deserves an alternative. The premise is simple. A master electrician with decades of field experience already recognizes most service call issues before arriving at a house. The diagnose then upsell model only exists because the people writing the playbook do not want customers to know what jobs actually cost. We do the opposite. We publish prices. We answer the phone.
